Grand Rapids girl Hannah Rose Graves has been writing and singing original music since 2008 when she started her first lineup of ‘Hannah Rose and the GravesTones’ at age 19 with multi-instrumentalist/virtuoso Justin Wierenga. Raised in the living room of her musically inclined Grandfather Roger Capen, she was seasoned with only the best music of many genres growing up. Hannah’s refined unique ‘Old School County with Soul’ music has been played on radio stations all over Michigan, and has been nominated for 12 “Jammy Awards” (wyce 881.fm.) Her album ‘Medicine’ has been nominated for Best Americana Album in 2024, amongst other nominations, and has been in the top 5 most played albums for 3 months in a row. In 2016 her band took home the Jammy nomination, “Best Blues/Soul Album.” Hannah has shared the stage with artists from all over the world including; G-Love and Special Sauce, Nikki Glespi, Larry Mccray, Shawn Martin of Snarky Puppy, Cosmic Knot, The Main Squeeze, The Bootstrap Boys, The Motet, Mungion, The Trippin’ Billies, Seth Bernard, Griff of the Verve Pipe, Max Brown of the War and Treaty, Joe Marcineck, After Funk, Jim Shaneberger, Desmond Jones, The Biscuit Rollers, and The Turnips, Mark Lavengood, Fauxgrass, and many more.
